Wildlife at SUN LOTUS

Far away from the hustle & bustle of the cities, nestled here in our secluded hideway, our pristine pond, extensive flower gardens and forest are a haven for abundant wildlife.

Relaxing on a deck or near the gardens you will observe numerous native birds including nesting swallows (with babies in the spring), stellar jays, red-winged blackbirds, flickers, various woodpeckers and hummingbirds, owls, eagles, herons, ducks and Canadian geese and many, many more.

As well, you will likely see harmless and colorful gartner snakes, toads, frogs, lizards, bats, butterflies, dragonflies, bunnies, fish jumping in the pond, deer, and possibly bear-not to mention the hilarious antics of our numerous friendly domestic pets as they play in this natures-lover's Shangrila.
